Hawk

Returning home after being dishonorably discharged from the Air Force made me feel like a bird with clipped wings. They grounded me and all of my flight crew, making us take the fall for a call gone way wrong. Now we were trying to find a place on the ground when all we knew were the skies.

Riding a motorcycle gave us back some of that freedom we once felt up in the clouds, forming a club of misfit pilots starving for the brotherhood we had all lost. So, when my dad approached me about my club helping out his discreet charter business for the rich and corrupt, we had no other choice but to take the jobs he had to offer.

Cressida Maxwell didn’t exactly belong in that world. She was a stylist for the stars who had somehow found herself in a whole heap of trouble. Someone big wanted her dead, and the second I found out that I was transporting her to her execution, I turned around and brought her home with me. Now my only goal was to protect her at all costs, but with my newly formed club, and my dad’s business on the line, I had to wonder if protecting her was worth all the hassle she brought with her, or if this was just one mission that a Hawk’s wings wasn’t strong enough to navigate.
